Created after Hurricane Georges damaged the Fuente family's Opus X wrapper fields in 1998 — facing a shortage two years later, Carlito Fuente rested a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper in cognac barrels and built it around the Opus X recipe instead. One of the rarest maduros on the market, released only in limited winter allocations: dark chocolate, espresso, oak, molasses, and warm barrel sweetness.
