Davidoff Nicaragua Short Corona

Unveiled in 2013, this was Davidoff's first all-Nicaraguan puro — wrapper, binder, and filler all grown in Nicaragua rather than the Dominican tobacco the brand had used almost exclusively since leaving Cuba in the early 1990s. Walnut, maple, and nutmeg open into coffee, leather, and a toffee-like sweetness; Cigar Aficionado scored it 95 points and a Top 5 ranking in 2022.
