Nick Melillo named this line for the ancient Olmec civilization of Mexico's San Andres Tuxtla region — the same tropical lowlands where its wrapper is grown today, and a people some historians credit as the first to smoke cigars. A Mexican San Andres Negro maduro wrapper over Esteli/Jalapa Nicaraguan binder and filler gives cacao, cinnamon, espresso, and black pepper.
