Launched in 2003 by owner Litto Gomez, Double Ligero was one of the cigars that put ligero — the strongest primings on the tobacco plant — on the map, grown on Gomez's own Dominican farm. Expect a powerful barrage of red and black pepper, cedar, and leather that turns sweet with chocolate and floral notes; the Lancero vitola landed #12 on Cigar Aficionado's 2020 Top 25 at 93 points.
