Introduced by General Cigar in 1971 as a milder alternative for a broader audience, Café is now handcrafted in the Dominican Republic from Dominican and Mexican long-fillers under a Mexican San Andres binder, aged up to three years, and finished with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. Expect vanilla, cedar, roasted nuts, cream, and a whisper of spice — long the standard recommendation for smokers just starting out.
