Montecristo Classic No. 2 Torpedo

The Montecristo name dates to 1935 Havana, named for The Count of Monte Cristo — a novel lectors famously read aloud to rollers on the factory floor. Classic was the first non-Cuban Montecristo blend sold in the US, introduced in the early 1970s: a Connecticut Shade wrapper over aged Dominican binder and filler for a consistently mild, easygoing smoke rather than one that shifts dramatically third to third.
