Named for the sword-shaped Montecristo band ('espada' is Spanish for sword), blended by the brand's Grupo de Maestros with unrestricted access to Nestor Plasencia's tobacco library and made at his Nicaraguan factory. A vintage 2010 Habano Jalapa wrapper over vintage 2009 Jalapa binder and a three-region 2008 filler blend gives pepper, earth, leather, roasted coffee, wood, cream, and nuts, medium-to-full-bodied.
