Padron 1926 Series No. 35

Padron's 1926 Serie honors company founder Jose O. Padron's father, who began the family's tobacco farming that year — a box-pressed, all-Nicaraguan puro hand-rolled in Esteli. Expect chocolate, espresso, and earthy notes, with black cherry and roasted nuts showing up in some vitolas. Two of Padron's Cigar of the Year wins have come from this line, including a 97-point, #1 Cigar of the Year honor in 2007 — many enthusiasts rate it even higher than the brand's better-known 1964 Anniversary line.
