Debuting in 2006 as a milder on-ramp to the brand, Vintage 1999 uses what Rocky Patel calls the oldest Connecticut shade wrapper on the market — wrapper, binder, and filler all aged seven years before rolling. Mellow and Honduran-made, opening with charred wood, paper, and toast before brown sugar, wheat bread, and floral notes take over.
