When Connecticut Broadleaf and Cameroon leaf became too scarce to meet RoMa Craft's quality bar for the original CroMagnon (discontinued 2022), founders Skip Martin and Mike Rosales rebuilt the blend around Pennsylvania Broadleaf instead. A thick, oily PA Broadleaf wrapper over Sumatra binder and Dominican/Nicaraguan filler gives cocoa, leather, earth, pepper, dark chocolate, and cedar with a creamy finish.
